Good should rhyme with mood and food

but it doesn’t.

Instead GOOD rhymes with HOOD, STOOD, and WOOD (and could, should and would–but we’re sticking with -ood today).

While FOOD only rhymes with MOOD and BROOD (and POOD, but is that a word?), (and chewed, stewed and rude, but again, not -ood).

And what the heck is up with BLOOD and FLOOD?

Readers and editors, did I miss any one-syllable -ood words?
