Thanks for linking your fingers together and letting me step into them. Thanks for lifting me up and helping me see over the wall and whispering in my ear that I could do it. Thanks for not bullying all of the doors open for me, as so many moms do today, but letting me break through the doors on my own. You gave me confidence and just enough of a nudge that your unyielding faith in me still lingers in the back of my conscience, telling me that I can do it. So I did it.
Thanks for showing me how to be a good mom.
